Cultural and multi-ethnic weddings are always an amazing experience to be a part of and help plan. Learning about the different cultures, and seeing the traditions, customs, and dress are some of the most exciting and educational weddings! This next wedding was no exception. Tala and Pendar are both Persian and wanted to incorporate many elements of their culture into their wedding. This included a traditional Persian Sofre (ceremony) which was complete with sugar grinding, honey tasting, and singing and dancing. Following the ceremony came an abundant cocktail hour where lines of buffet food were set out for guests to begin feasting.
Following the cocktail hour, guests spent the first couple hours of the reception dancing to a rocking live band and mingling with one another before a huge feast was served later into the evening featuring all types of rice, meats, vegetables, and topped with the most extravagant dessert tables as they continued to dance the night away and even had a performance by some amazing belly dancers! Check out the lavish details below, which were published in Aroos magazine! Congratulations again to Tala and Pendar!
