Wedding Highlights: Christine & Borja

Sometimes less is more, and that's definitely the case with this unique and eclectic wedding that we are featuring this week! Christine and Borja had only a couple of months to plan a wedding and with that in mind, they knew what was important and what they wanted! She envisioned a simple, no-fuss wedding where 50 of her closest friends and family could really enjoy each other's company and celebrate the coming together of these two families.

The ceremony was quaint and took place at the gorgeous Pasadena City Hall, and then guests were invited to an intimate dinner at the Bistro 45 restaurant down the street. Guests were entertained with delicious food, a live band trio, free flowing bar, photobooth, and to top it all off, a delicious wedding cake enough to make anyone swoon! Wedding Highlights: Irene & Drew

This next wedding features the beauty and elegance of Downtown Los Angeles amidst all of the hustle and bustle of the city life. This marked Irene and Drew's first wedding to each other and being the most no-fuss bride and groom you could ask for, all they wanted was to create a comfortable, fun, and inviting environment for all of their wedding guests, and we did just that at the classic Los Angeles Athletic Club!

We kept the decor clean and simple to accentuate the beauty and elegance of the Los Angeles Athletic Club, keeping our color palette simple yet bold, with dark romantic shades of red with a modern pop of grey and white.

Irene filled the space with warm touches and details such as finding a different tea spoon for each of her wedding guests tied to a jar of jam as wedding favors, and including a fun late night snack that featured milk and cookies and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. To top it all off, her 3 adorable and beautiful bridesmaids and nieces surprised Irene and Drew during their speech with a heartfelt song dedication. Wedding Highlights: Aileen & Leo

We love the clean, simple, and fresh colors and look of this next wedding! Aileen and Leo tied the knot at the beautiful Westin Pasadena and chose a color palette that not only fit the bride's fresh and upbeat personality, but also matched the bright and fun colors of the springtime. Just like Aileen's personality, she wanted her wedding to look fresh, streamlined, simple, yet bold.

The beauty can definitely be seen in the details, with intricate and lush floral centerpieces complimented with touches of mercury silver and white lights. Aileen found much of her inspiration from the beauty of the nature around her. Check out more beautiful details below!

Happy New Years everyone! We are so excited that as we wrapped up 2012, one of our weddings was featured on Style Me Pretty! Joanna and Andrew's wedding was filled with so many romantic details and soft colors that just created one of the most fun-filled and gorgeous weddings we have seen. Of course Vibiana's stunning backdrop provides one of the most fabulous and beautiful venues to stage this amazing wedding. This is the kind of affair where the bride's dress is just so beautiful it can bring you to tears, the wedding cake so romantic that its just too pretty to eat, and photographs from Esther Sun Photography that were so soft and beautiful, it really does the event justice.
